Everett Ray Ferguson
Tax Partner

Ray joined Condley & Company in 1981. He serves as Managing Partner and as Chair of the Finance Committee and the Insurance and Benefits Committee.

In addition to his leadership roles, Ray provides personal and business financial planning, estate and trust administration services and income and estate tax planning and compliance services. Specifically, he designs estate plans to maximize assets passing to desired beneficiaries, and he designs investment portfolios to meet client needs and exceed performance benchmarks. Previously, Ray worked as a computer programmer and guest instructor at Abilene Christian University.

Ray attributes his success to God and was inspired to go into accounting because he enjoys helping others. He grew up in Abilene, TX, but also lived in England, Germany, and Greece. Today, Ray resides in Abilene with his wife, Star, and their two children. Each year, in July, his family packs their bags for Zambia to participate in a medical mission providing medical and spiritual care to residents of poor, remote areas. Ray enjoys hunting, golfing, and studying economics and politics in his free time.
