Ray joined Condley & Company in 1981. He has served as a Partner in the Estate & Trust department since 1988 and has supported the firm in multiple leadership roles.
In addition to his leadership roles, Ray works with people to meet their personal and business needs and desires. He provides personal and business financial planning, estate and trust administration services, income and estate tax planning and compliance services, and he designs investment portfolios to meet client needs and exceed performance benchmarks.* Previously, Ray worked as a computer programmer and guest instructor at Abilene Christian University.
Ray attributes his success to God and was inspired to go into accounting because he enjoys helping others. He grew up in Abilene, TX but also lived in England, Germany, and Greece. Today, Ray resides in Abilene with his wife, Star, and they have two children. Each year in July, his family packs their bags for Zambia to participate in a medical mission providing medical and spiritual care to residents of poor, remote areas. Ray enjoys hunting, golfing, and studying economics and politics in his free time.
