Mary Lee Brooks

Mary Lee has been in the accounting industry for 40 years. She started as a staff accountant with Condley & Company’s tax services in 1981 and now serves as a Partner in the Tax Department. Mary Lee provides federal income tax and planning services to small and large businesses including farming and ranching entities, oil and gas companies, exempt organizations, and individuals.

Mary Lee attributes her success to her parents, who taught her to work hard and believe in herself. She was inspired to go into accounting because of family–her grandfather, aunt, sister and cousin are all CPAs. Her grandfather once told her that she would always have a job if she became an accountant.

A native of Olton, TX, Mary Lee now lives in Winters with her husband, Sterling. She enjoys the small-town atmosphere of Winters and the warmth of the people in the Abilene area. In her free time, Mary Lee likes cooking, reading, and enjoying life in the country with her husband.
