May 2021 – The certified public accounting firm of Condley and Company, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Kristina Warrix, Tax Senior I, has received the Elijah Watts Sells Award given by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Among the most prestigious awards in the accounting profession, the Elijah Watts Sells Award recognizes high-performing CPA candidates who achieve a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the CPA Exam and pass all four sections on their first attempt. Out of nearly 75,000 test-takers in 2020, only 89 candidates earned this honor.

Warrix began her career with Condley in 2018 in the Tax department, working with individuals and business entities involved in oil and gas, real estate, and agriculture. In addition to the Elijah Watts Sells Award, Warrix received the Top Ten Award from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBCA) in 2020 as well as the Accounting Excellence Award from the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) in 2018. She is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, receiving her Master of Business Administration in 2020 and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and
Finance in 2018.
In her work at Condley and Company, LLP, Warrix aims to “approach each tax engagement as if preparing [her] own tax return,” listening to the unique stories and situations of each client to deliver valuable business strategies. Her coworkers describe Warrix as approachable, thorough, and goal-oriented.
The Elijah Watts Sells Award is named in honor of one of the country’s first CPAs who was active in the establishment of the AICPA. As an advocate for the profession, Sells played a key role in advancing professional education for accountants.
